This Sleepy Hollow living room had the perfect niches flanking the fireplace—just waiting to be filled. We designed a pair of bookcases that combine painted cabinetry with warm walnut shelves. The inset doors feature a subtle bead detail, and the entire piece is accented with understated brass hardware. Painted in Soft Sage by Sherwin Williams, the palette is soft and grounded, adding richness and refinement.
