We worked on this project for a client who was expecting their first baby. Living in a two-bedroom apartment, they needed their nursery to offer smart storage solutions—while also incorporating a horizontal Queen-size Murphy bed for visiting guests. The primary design challenge was to integrate the Murphy bed in a way that felt seamless and cohesive within the room.

To achieve this, we created a custom built-in with faux doors that give the illusion of four tall closet panels. When the bed folds down, the wall transforms—yet maintains its polished appearance. We also included closed storage directly above the Murphy bed, which opens with a discreet push-to-touch mechanism for a clean, hardware-free look.
